"Exquisite," "ravishing" and "bewitching" are just a few superlatives used to describe the groundbreaking music of electro-acoustic composer-pianist Max Richter. With a ubiquitous presence in dance, film and television, Richters seductive and achingly beautiful works have made him one of the most influential composers of his generation. Joined by the American Contemporary Music Ensemble, a group of "contemporary music dynamos" (NPR), he will perform his work Infra, inspired by T.S. Eliot's The Waste Land, and selections from the enhanced reissue of his 2004 masterpiece album, The Blue Notebooks.
