In an ongoing effort to ensure the safety, security and convenience of Penn Live Arts patrons and performers, we ask that you please take a moment to review our policies.
Late seating is at the discretion of House Management and may not be possible for some performances. If you arrive late, ushers will seat you at the earliest appropriate time during the performance. Out of respect for the performers on stage and the other audience members, you will be asked to wait in the lobby with the usher until the appropriate seating break. In some cases, this will not be until intermission, so please plan accordingly! If you need to leave the performance early, we ask that you leave at a point in the performance when moving around would be of minimal disturbance to those around you. When you return, you will be asked to wait with the usher until the next seating break.
All electronic devices must be turned off or silenced during performances. Taking pictures and video recording is prohibited.
All persons entering the theatre, including babes in arms, must have a ticket. Please carefully consider whether a performance/event is appropriate for your child before planning to attend. Disruptive patrons, including children, may be asked to leave the theatre.
Food and beverages are not permitted in any of Penn Live Arts' theatres.
The Penn Live Arts patron services department oversees and manages any items left behind. Found items will be kept secure in our House Manager's office for two weeks. Personal items found such as wallets, ID cards, credit cards and keys will immediately be turned in to the Office of Public Safety at 4040 Chestnut Street (215.898.7297). If you have lost an item at a Penn Live Arts event, call the Box Office at 215.898.3900 or email us at PLA-BoxOffice@upenn.edu.
All events may be photographed and/or filmed for archival and future promotional use. By attending the event, you give permission for Penn Live Arts and the artist(s) to use your image for these purposes.
By purchasing a ticket, visiting Penn Live Arts’ venues or engaging with Penn Live Arts staff and community by phone, online or in person, you agree to the tenets and policies of our Code of Conduct.
