Third-Party Ticket Seller Warning

Penn Live Arts cautions against purchasing from unaffiliated, third-party websites. Please purchase tickets exclusively through our website (PennLiveArts.org) or via our Box Office, either over the phone at 215.898.3900 or in-person.

Resellers often buy tickets to performances at the same prices as the general public and then resell them at a significant markup with many additional fees. We have no control over the prices or fees these resellers may charge. Should you choose to purchase from anyone other than Penn Live Arts, please check the seller’s credibility and examine tickets carefully for authenticity. We want to ensure accurate ticket pricing and the best experience possible for all, so please contact the Box Office with any questions regarding the validity of any ticket being sold.

Please note, buyers found to have regularly resold tickets for higher than face value may have their orders canceled and tickets voided, and may be prevented from purchasing tickets in the future, at our Box Office’s discretion.

Box Office Policies & Information

REFUNDS · Penn Live Arts does not issue refunds. All sales are final.

EXCHANGES · Ticket exchanges are limited and subject to a fee. Subscribers receive free unlimited exchanges in-person, over the phone and by mail. Subscribers should have their original tickets in-hand for exchanges made over the phone. All other ticket holders may exchange tickets in-person or over the phone for a $7 processing fee per ticket. We ask that requests for ticket exchanges be made at least 48 hours prior to the performance. If the new tickets are more expensive than the original tickets, the ticket holder must pay the difference at the time of the exchange. Exchanges are based on availability and some restrictions apply.

PURCHASES CLOSE TO THE PERFORMANCE DATE · Tickets purchased within nine days of the performance date will be held at the Box Office. Patrons may be required to show a photo ID at the window to pick up their tickets.

HANDLING FEE

DISCOUNTS · Any available ticket discounts are offered off the full, regular price. These discounts may not be applied to previously purchased tickets. Only one discount can be applied per order; they cannot be combined or stacked. All discounts are based on availability and may be subject to restrictions.

ACCEPTABLE FORMS OF PAYMENT · Penn Live Arts accepts Visa, Mastercard, Discover, American Express and checks made payable to Trustees of the University of Pennsylvania. Personal checks require 10 business days to process and are accepted only for events taking place 10 or more days after the date of purchase. Tickets will not be distributed until the check has been cleared. Though cash is accepted at the Box Office window, Penn Live Arts discourages mailing cash for ticket purchases or exchanges and is not responsible for cash that is lost or stolen during transit.

STUDENT TICKETS · Students must show Student ID when purchasing tickets at the Box Office. Students who do not have a Student ID will be charged full price for their tickets.

ACCESSIBLE SEATS · Accessible seats are available for people with mobility disabilities and their companions. People who use wheelchairs or other mobility devices, and people who cannot climb steps or walk long distances are permitted to purchase accessible seats. Individuals who, because of their disability, cannot sit in a straight-back chair or those whose service dogs cannot lie safely in the aisle are also permitted to purchase accessible seats. Please mention any specific needs when purchasing your tickets. » View Additional Accessibility Information

PERSONAL CARE ATTENDANT TICKETS · We provide complimentary admission for government-funded or paid personal care attendants (PCAs) whose attendance is required to enable those with severe disabilities (i.e. individuals requiring around-the-clock assistance) to attend events. Depending on the event and the location of the ticketed patron’s seat, the PCA will either be provided a seat or will be directed to a location nearby where they can stand (which may or may not include a view of the event). Any request for a complimentary PCA admission must be made when purchasing the patron’s ticket by calling the Box Office at 215.898.3900. » View Additional Accessibility Information

EVENT CHANGES/CANCELLATION · Artists and programs are subject to change. If an event presented by the Penn Live Arts is cancelled or changed, information will be posted on the website and included on the Box Office introductory phone message. Should the University of Pennsylvania or the City of Philadelphia suspend normal operations, then all events will be cancelled and the building will be closed. This applies to all performances, rentals, rehearsals and other booked events. We encourage you to provide your name, address, phone and email address at the time of purchase so that we may contact you in the event of significant changes.

TICKET DONATIONS · If you are unable to attend a performance, ticket donations are gratefully accepted for upcoming performances. To donate your tickets in person, bring them to the Box Office any time before the show. To donate via phone please have the tickets in hand and call before 6 PM on the last business day before the show.
