Mobile ticketing is convenient, secure and paperless. With this option, you can receive and manage your tickets right on your smartphone and easily share them with friends and family to make entering the theatre easier than ever. Mobile ticketing also helps us protect you against lost or counterfeit tickets.

How to access your mobile tickets
  1. Go to mobile.pennlivearts.org.
  2. Log in to your Penn Live Arts account. Enter the same email address and password that you used to purchase tickets. If you forget your login information, you can easily click to request an access code be sent to your email. (This can take up to a few minutes.)
  3. Tap the specific event to see your tickets.

How to share your mobile tickets
We encourage you to share mobile tickets with each member of your group, as this provides the best experience at the venue and allows each person to enter whenever they arrive.
  1. Go to mobile.pennlivearts.org.
  2. Log in to your Penn Live Arts account.
  3. Select the performance for which you want to share tickets.
  4. Tap Share button.
  5. Enter the full name of the person with whom you are sharing the mobile ticket(s).
  6. Tap to select the ticket(s) you’d like to share.
  7. Confirm the details.
  8. A link with the ticket(s) is generated. You can now share the personalized link via text or email with the ticket recipient.

What are mobile tickets?
Mobile ticketing is a convenient, secure and paperless alternative to print at home or traditional tickets. You can receive and manage your tickets right on your smartphone – they’re with you and available wherever you go. You can also easily share tickets with friends and family. This greatly improves your experience when entering the theatre and you’ll never have to wait for everyone to arrive. Lastly, mobile tickets offer an added layer of security. Using a unique QR code that refreshes every 30 seconds, each ticket can only be scanned once, denying entry for any counterfeit and stolen tickets.

How are mobile tickets delivered?
Mobile tickets will be delivered digitally at mobile.pennlivearts.org. A link will be included in your order confirmation. Tickets are typically available to view right away.

Do I need to download an app?
No apps are necessary. You can simply open any web browser and type in mobile.pennlivearts.org to access your mobile tickets.

How do I access my mobile tickets?

Should I access my mobile tickets before arriving at my performance?
Yes, we recommend you log into mobile.pennlivearts.org before leaving home. This will help ease your entry once you arrive. If you’re an Apple phone user, you can add your ticket(s) directly to your Apple Wallet. You can also share tickets with the rest of your group ahead of time.

May I print my mobile tickets or save a screenshot?
No, printouts and screenshots are not accepted and cannot be scanned at the door. Once activated, the QR code on your mobile ticket(s) updates every 30 seconds and can only be scanned directly from your mobile device.

When will the QR code begin displaying?
The QR code will automatically appear on your mobile ticket(s) starting a few hours prior to your performance start time.

What if I forget my phone or it’s out of battery?
Visit our Box Office when you arrive at the performance and we can print you traditional paper tickets to use.

What happens when I arrive for my show?
When you arrive at the venue, go to mobile.pennlivearts.org to access your mobile ticket(s) or find them in your Apple Wallet. Please have your ticket(s) ready on your phone before heading to enter the theatre. Our ushers will scan each ticket individually, and to make the process even faster, we encourage you to turn up the brightness of your phone screen.

Can I share my mobile ticket before the QR codes are activated?
Yes, once you see the Share Tickets button on your mobile ticket(s), you may share some or all of them, even if the QR codes are not yet active.

Can I share mobile tickets from my desktop computer?
Yes, you can see and share your mobile ticket(s) on a desktop computer. Once you have the share link you can simply email it to others in your group.

Do others in my group need to create a login?
Yes, to claim the mobile tickets you have shared, they will need to log in. If they already have a Penn Live Arts account, they should use the same email address to login. If they don’t have an account, they will need to create one to accept the ticket(s). Account creation takes just a moment and requires only a name, email address and password.

What if others in my group don’t know whether they have an existing account/login?
If anyone in your group is unsure if they have an existing login, they can click to create a new account. If their email already exists, our system will let them know. They will be able to access their account using the Forgot Password feature or by simply requesting a secure one-time access code.

How will I know if members of my group accepted the shared ticket(s)?
Once you share a mobile ticket, you will see one of these statuses:
  1. Ticket Accepted
    This means the person has accepted your shared ticket(s).
  2. Ticket Shared with Pending
    This means the person has not accepted the mobile ticket(s) yet. You may want to remind them by tapping “Share this invite again” or you could choose to reclaim the ticket(s) by tapping “Get this ticket back.”
  3. Ticket Declined
    This means your guest has declined your shared ticket. You can re-share again as needed.
What if members of my group don’t accept the shared mobile ticket(s)?
Shared mobile tickets cannot be used by the recipient until they accept them. You may also reclaim your tickets if your guest changes their mind or does not accept them.

How do I claim a mobile ticket shared with me?
  1. Click the link shared with you.
  2. Log in using the email address associated with your Penn Live Arts account or create a new account if you don't have one.
  3. Accept the tickets.
