Penn Live Arts masterclasses connect local students and early-career practitioners with renowned artists from around the world, offering firsthand opportunities to deepen their skills, broaden their perspectives and gain insight into professional artistic practice. Through the Powell-Vandever Dance Masterclass Series, most visiting dance companies lead classes for intermediate to advanced high school, university and emerging professional dancers. Beginning in the 26/27 season, masterclass offerings have been expanded to include jazz workshops for advanced high school and college musicians. All masterclasses are free to attend but registration is required.
