May 4-6, 2025

The Philadelphia Children's Festival is turning 40! Established in 1985 as the first festival of its kind in the country, we are thrilled to celebrate four decades of welcoming generations of families to enjoy the best in performing arts for young audiences. This legacy continues May 4-6, 2025.

With a supercharged circus of extreme sports, a refugee's powerful memoir brought to life onstage, and a story of friendship and plucky determination told through vibrant visuals and puppetry, the Children's Festival is packed with fun for the whole family. Plus, enjoy the outdoor PLAYground with hands-on activities and entertainment by the Dirty Sock Funtime Band. The Children's Festival is rain or shine.

Weekend performances and school-day matinees available!
