The concerto grosso, one of the high baroque’s most varied and conversational forms, pivots on dialogue between an orchestra and groups of soloists. Tempesta di Mare performs masterpieces of the genre by Corelli, Vivaldi, Scarlatti, Handel, Bach and Fasch, for whom it was one of their go-to orchestral idioms.
