Nepal’s renowned musical ambassador, Sur-Sudha, brings its captivating Eastern classical and folk fusion to Philadelphia for the first time. Meditative one moment and compellingly rhythmic the next, the group’s standout solos and collective improvisations on traditional Nepali harmonies conjure bright visions of this tiny nation in the Himalayas. Led by founder and tabla maestro Surendra Shrestha, Sur-Sudha is dedicated to sharing universal messages of peace around the world. A rare chance to hear this cultural gem is not-to-be-missed.
