Called one helluva rocknroller-coaster ride (Vibe Magazine), singer/songwriter/guitarist Toshi Reagon and friends perform her genre-defying work-in-progress based on Octavia Butlers acclaimed novel, Parable of the Sower. Set in a post-apocalyptic Los Angeles of the future, this gospel opera blends science fiction, African American spiritualism and deep insights on gender, race and the future of human civilization.
