Join us before the King Lear performance on September 25 for a discussion led by Jim Schlatter, Senior Lecturer, Theatre Arts Program. Dr. Schlatters talk will focus on the modern history of King Lear productions. He will discuss how specific productions have aspired not only to make Lear relevant to todays audiences but equally importantly to engage Shakespeare (as the title of Jan Kotts seminal book of essays on the playwrights work announces) as truly our contemporary.
This event is free for King Lear ticket holders.
