“America’s most astonishing choir,” (The New York Times) The Crossing, reflects on our world during the holiday season. Conducted by Donald Nally, this multiple Grammy® Award-winning new music ensemble performs the east coast premiere of Ochre by Caroline Shaw which takes a wonder-filled approach to how we consider and care for the ground beneath our feet. Featuring organist Scott Dettra, the program also features the Philadelphia premiere of Mason Bates’ Mass Transmission which explores how the telephone and early radio connected people across the planet but created a new kind of global loneliness at the same time.
