Led by a Complexions Contemporary Ballet dancer, this NIQUE introduction class features a series of barre and center floor exercises, each building upon the previous sequence while preparing the body for the next. This integrated approach promotes improved coordination, precision and clarity of form. NIQUE explores the innovative movement creations of its founders, Dwight Rhoden and Desmond Richardson. Dancers are invited to bring their authentic selves to discover the inherent expressiveness of their bodies and obtain greater movement fluency.
Open to intermediate to advanced high school, university, and post-graduate/professional dancers with strong classical training. Please wear comfortable dance attire and ballet shoes.
The masterclass is free, but advanced registration is required.
