Arturo Sandoval is the most prodigious Cuban trumpeter of his generation. A protege of legendary jazz master Dizzy Gillespie, Sandoval forged his own bold synthesis of bebop and Cuban styles, earning him 10 Grammy awards, six Billboard awards and one Emmy award along the way. He is known for his virtuoso technical ability and gravity-defying improvisational flights. Whenever Sandoval picks up his horn, expect that fireworks will follow.
