The Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts 28th Philadelphia International Childrens Festival is back Thursday, May 3-Saturday, May 5.
The fest promises three days of family-friendly music, theatre and dance performances and a host of fun, interactive activities.
In addition, the outdoor Fun Zone on the Annenberg Plaza features crafts, dancers, musicians and a special appearance by the Phillie Phanatic.
Tickets are just $10; families attending performances on Saturday, May 5 can save by purchasing a Childrens Festival Fun Pass and enjoy three shows, access to the Childrens Festival Fun Zone and a lunch for only $25.
Founded in 1985, the festival is the first of its kind in the country, aiming to provide Philadelphia families with an affordable way to experience the artistry of international performance and visual arts. Attracting more than 15,000 children and their families each year, the eagerly anticipated springtime tradition also helps build the arts audiences of the future.
