The festival is composed of nearly 20 shows, each with multiple presentations and some enhanced with post-production discussions, workshops and exhibitions. The productions include “Bang,” a comedic clown theater conceived by Charlotte Ford; a progressive dinner and performance by Headlong Dance Theater; “Le Grand Adventure,” an assembly of nearly 200 local dancers of all ages on the steps of the Philadelphia Museum of Art; a dismantled film about the effects of Hurricane Katrina created by Ashley Hunt and an oral argument of the first amendment presented by Elevator Repair Service. “Red, black & GREEN: a blues, the vision of Marc Bamuthi Joseph,” blends the spoken word, music, film and contemporary dance.
